EarthQuaker Devices Time Shadows II Subharmonic Multi-delay Resonator Pedal

EarthQuaker Devices Time Shadows II Subharmonic Multi-delay Resonator Pedal

The Time Shadows II is the latest reimagining of EarthQuaker Devices' collaboration with Death by Audio, offering an experimental twist on delay with subharmonic resonances. This pedal introduces new features like preset saving and expression pedal mapping for any parameter, giving you unprecedented control over your sonic experiments. Whether you’re into warped delays, synth-like filters, or atmospheric textures, the Time Shadows II delivers a treasure trove of unique sounds.

With straightforward controls that make sonic exploration a breeze, this pedal covers everything from gritty fuzzed-out delays to crisp, clean repeats filtered into bright or shadowy tones. The filter cutoff frequency control lets you transform your delay into ominous subharmonic growls or lush, ambient repeats with a warm wash. The Time Shadows II’s delay range is incredibly versatile, from eerie, chorused slapback to expansive, lingering atmospheres.

What sets the Time Shadows II apart is its reactive envelope component, making the pedal highly sensitive to input levels, giving your playing an organic, dynamic feel. For best results, the creators recommend starting with short delay times and high-span settings and adjusting your input volume as you dial in new tones.
