The Ibanez Premium S1070PBZ-CKB Charcoal Black Burst fulfills all expectations of a noble and modern rock guitar with playable ease. Ibanez relies on an elaborate construction with the finest woods, which impresses with first-class playability thanks to the agile Saber design. An HSH pickup setup from DiMarzio promises more flexible rock and metal sounds that always remain sharply defined, even with the latest drop tunings. Last but not least, the Premium S1070PBZ is equipped with the proven Ibanez Edge-Zero II Double Locking Tremolo including the stabilizing ZPS3Fe Zero Point System and precise Gotoh MG-T Locking tuners.

The S1070PBZ is constructed using a selection of first-class woods. The mahogany body base has a four-piece top made from burl poplar, maple, panga panga and walnut, while the bolt-on neck is made from eleven pieces of panga panga, maple, walnut and bubinga. The streamlined S-design with the "Wizard" neck profile creates optimum conditions for agile handling, so that every note comes out of the hand as if by magic between the 24 stainless steel frets of the panga panga fingerboard.

The Ibanez Premium S1070PBZ-CKB Charcoal Black Burst is powered by an HSH pickup setup from DiMarzio, which promises a broad sound spectrum. The DiMarzio The Tone Zone humbucker fitted to the bridge delivers an extremely fat sound with a stable bass foundation and powerful mids, which asserts itself excellently in the band sound. In the middle position, the DiMarzio True Velvet single-coil provides bell-like sounds with a sweet overtone spectrum, while the DiMarzio Air Norton on the neck provides warm sounds. The pickups are controlled using a 5-way blade switch and general volume and tone controls.

Naturally, the Ibanez Premium S1070PBZ-CKB Charcoal Black Burst is equipped with the tried-and-tested Ibanez Edge-Zero II Double Locking tremolo, which takes even the most unrestrained squeals and dive bombs without the electric guitar going out of tune. The Ibanez ZPS3Fe Zero Point System provides the Tremolo with a fixed resting point so that you can continue playing without going out of tune even if the strings break. The headstock of the Ibanez S1070PBZ also features precise Gotoh MG-T Locking tuners.
