Fender Tweed Harvard amp (1960)

• Power Output: 10 watts RMS

• Power Tubes: 2 x 6V6 (class AB fixed-bias)

• Speaker: 1 x 10" (typically a Jensen P10R or C10R)

• Rectifier Tube: 5Y3

• Preamp Tubes: Includes a unique single-triode 6AT6 and 12AX7 / 6V6 configuration depending on the exact build years (1955–1960/1962).

• Controls: Single channel with Volume and Tone controls, plus three instrument inputs.

It is often described as the "missing link" between the smaller Champ/Princeton and the larger Tweed Deluxe, offering a bit more clean headroom than a Deluxe before breaking into natural overdrive.

Condition:

All original minus some caps, resistors, fuse holder, and three prong grounded cord. (All replaced components will accompany amp) It currently has vintage RCA tubes and sounds phenomenal. Original Tweed, transformers, speaker, grilleclothe, and leather handle which is almost always missing. If you've been waiting for a healthy Harvard amp, this is the one. There is a reason these models demand such a premium - they truly are everything they're heralded to be. The only amp you'll ever need. The tube sockets should be tightened a little. (My tech said it was fine, but I'd prefer to habe them a bit more snug)

*The only modification is an external speaker jack that can run any 8ohm speaker you choose. While not original, it likely saved the original 10" Jensen from a premature death. I used it to drive a 12" P12q and it is, without a doubt, the best amp I've played/owned. Please examine the photos to see the jack in the rear panel.

Amp will ship double boxed, expertly packed with tubes removed and individually wrapped for safe transit. It will also come with an additional 6at6 tube so you can choose the level of gain you desire. It currently has a 6aV6 installed right now.
