Highly uniform drum heads created through innovative ideas and computer control!

EMAD is Evans' proprietary sound control system, featuring two interchangeable urethane mute rings (damping rings) of different widths that can be easily attached or removed without removing the bass drum head. The 10-mil, single-ply film allows you to create a wide range of sounds, from an open sound to a tight attack or a fat sound with a rich low end, all with just one bass drum head. The EMAD2 uses a 7-mil outer film and a 10-mil inner film, two plies, for even greater attack and durability.

Finish: Clear Thickness: 7mil + 10mil with EMAD Ring
