SERIAL # 65719
This vintage Martin D-28 acoustic guitar is a classic instrument from 1937. This is one of 148 D-28's made in that year.
It features a dreadnought body type with a natural wood color, mahogany neck, and spruce and rosewood body materials. The fretboard is made of ebony, and the guitar has a six-string configuration.
The bridge is not glued down and needs repair. Do not believe the end tail is original.
The top of the body has 2 dings in the wood, and there is also some wear on the top (See last 3 pictures). Besides that, all the scratches seem to be in the finish & not the wood.
There is one tuning peg missing, but you can still turn it.
Did not try to tune it since the bridge needs repair.
