Decca DMI 301 produced in the 1960's by Teisco, made in Japan. Features of this short scale bass include on/off selectors for each of the two pickups, a boat-style input jack, tone and volume knobs. The electronics need some help, bridge pickup is only working pickup, and is weak, selector switches may be issue but unsure, volume and tone seem functional.
If you’re looking for a vintage bass project, here you are. Numerous dings, nicks, and scratches, the lacquer finish has some crazing/cracking in areas. Please review pictures to see condition.
This bass weighs around 8 lbs. The neck is substantial, with a 1-3/4" nut width, this bass does not have a case.
If interested I’ll answer any questions I can, thanks for looking.
