Original vintage holy grail 1967 Martin D-35 in gorgeous playing condition! Real deal, golden age Brazilian tone cannon, excellent frets, and neck angle, no cracks breaks or repairs.
A true lifetime instrument, this fantastic old Martin absolutely sings. unquestionably, one of the best I’ve had the pleasure of owning in my studio. The subtle V neck plays effortlessly, volume and projection are superb, and the tone is balanced, sweet, and room-filling. Firm, controlled bass, expansive high frequencies, and a sweet, throaty, woody midrange, with long, complex sustain. Just wow.
Cosmetically, she’s very vintage, with gobs of genuine mojo, patina, and play wear, all earned, all superficial. Shes all original but for the pickguards, (original included in case). The case itself is in very nice condition as well. Don Scott I speculate, is the famous Minnesota blues musician, and probably responsible for the custom pearl inlay. Enjoy!
