Fender George Harrison Rosewood Telecaster 2022 - Natural

If you know anything about the Beatles, you're aware of George Harrison's influence on contemporary music—and you're probably familiar with his rosewood Tele. In 1968, Fender built two all-Rosewood Telecasters and sent one to George Harrison (the other went to Jimi Hendrix), George immediately bonded with the guitar and played it heavily on Abbey Road and Let It Be—but it was The Beatles' final concert on the roof of Apple Records that cemented the guitar as one of the most important in rock history. Fender has re-created that guitar for you to own part of that history.

The George Harrison Rosewood Telecaster is based on the original created for Harrison by Roger Rossmeisel. The guitar remains true to its roots with its classic looks and unique tone that only an all-rosewood guitar can produce. The body is chambered to reduce the weight and increase resonance. Other features include a rosewood neck with a 60s "C" profile, laminated 9.5" fingerboard, and a custom engraved neck plate.

The pickups are vintage-correct '64 gray-bottom single-coils. These pickups nail the tone and vibe of the original, producing Tele twang but with versatility all of its own.
