Yamaha FG820-12 - Natural

Yamaha FG820-12: Embrace the Fullness of a 12-String Acoustic It All Starts Here

When it was introduced in 1966, the FG series proved that a great acoustic guitar doesn't have to cost a fortune. With its focus on playability, musical tone, and outstanding build quality, the original FG180 became a classic. Now, 50 years since the introduction of FG acoustics, the tone is better than ever. Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting your musical journey, the Yamaha FG820-12 is your perfect companion.

Rich and Resonant Sound

The Yamaha FG820-12 is the 12-string version of the FG820, designed to deliver a fuller and more resonant sound. The combination of a solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides provides a warm, strong tone that is perfect for a variety of musical styles. The traditional western body shape ensures excellent projection and tonal balance, making it an ideal choice for both strumming and fingerpicking.

Superior Craftsmanship and Playability

Built with the same dedication to quality as the original FG series, the FG820-12 features a solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides. The newly developed scalloped bracing enhances the guitar's strength and sound projection, allowing the top to vibrate more freely and produce a richer, more dynamic tone. The rosewood fingerboard and bridge offer smooth playability and excellent sustain, ensuring a satisfying playing experience.
