In designing the Zager 80 Series Denny chose the same quality woods as those high dollar guitars to give it that rich deep sound, but incorporated his own design elements and String Science system to make it 50% easier to play. Instead of using spruce and mahogany like on our 20 and 50 Series guitars, Denny chose a Western red cedar top with Indian rosewood back and sides which give it a deeper, more mellow, sweet tone. This guitar also incorporates extensive use of inlay around the face, sound hole, and fret board, in combination with genuine "Grover" gold plated tuning machines.

The ZAD80CE Acoustic/Electric takes it to the next level with a built in transducer and electronics package that allows you to plug into an amplifier or PA system and play it like an electric. It has a venetian cutaway box design so you can slide down low for those hard reaches.
