ESP Eclipse-I CTM (4 knob lawsuit shape)

2005 Japanese made ESP Eclipse with the more correct Les Paul shape and 4 knobs. These are hard to come by in the US.

It's in good shape for 18 years old. The top is pretty clean with only minor imperfections but the back shows some more wear the most significant being two very notable dings into the wood on the back lower edge on each side. See close up pictures. The neck is straight and plays well with no real fret wear. The hardware shows signs of aging and pitting in the gold finish. The ESP case works fine with one latch loose and some wear and sticker residue on the outside.

I replaced the stock black EMG 81/60 with brushed gold EMG 81x/60x. The originals are in the case and will also be included. The pickups themselves use clip-on connectors for easy swapping but the stock wiring is EMG's older style that predates the clip-on pots so it's all hardwired inside. When I received it, it was occasionally shorting out with static. Since the battery is inside the control cavity I think it's touching something or the connector is loose. Jiggling it seems to fix it and I wrapped it and that helps but wanted to mention it. Ultimately I think an upgrade to current clip-on style connectors are warranted and I have spares that I will include in case you want to do that. Otherwise you might have to give it the occasional jiggle.
