Selling an original 1967-68 Fender Newporter acoustic. This guitar appears to be unplayed, however it is not mint as you’d expect. The guitar had been stored with the original strap which unfortunately reacted with the finish in a few places on the back of the body, and one spot on the neck (see pics). Every other thing about the guitar is in Excellent - near NOS condition. Frets are perfect, neck is straight, plays well and sound surprisingly good. The fender acoustics have long gone under respected and are starting to really command some decent prices. Doesn’t hurt that they essentially use a 60’s strat neck with a modified heel shape. This guitar would be great for both the collector or player. Includes the original bulwin labeled softcase, which is also in excellent condition.
