Here’s some studio gear owned by my boss, Dave Meniketti (of Y&T).
We’re going through his studio, shed, and garage, clearing out old gear that Dave no longer uses.
These are some pieces of rack gear that Dave used in the 80’s and 90’s.
The Dual Gate was used on all of the Y&T recordings that Dave engineered himself in the late 80’s and 90’s.
I don’t know how (or if) he used the
Alesis D4 drum sound module.
The Antares auto-tune was given to him by the creator himself after a chance meeting in a movie theater. This is one of the first units made. Dave used this on recording projects in his studio in the 90’s after Y&T broke up.
All are signed by Dave.
