18" Vintage 50s/60s no dot small stamp Avedis Zildjian Crash Cymbal that weighs about 1525 grams. It has patina and discoloration and stickmarks and scratches and patina and some faded marker on the underside. It has two small "pits" in the underside, likely from the factory (see pics 5 and 6.. these are pretty common for this era). It has some keyholing as you can see but no cracks there or anywhere else ("keyholing" refers to the shape). It has some pretty mild stick dents on the edge and it has some nicks/roughness.. nothing too nasty there. MY OPINION ON SOUND: This has a great vintage crash sound.. nothing bad.. nothing crazy.. pretty low pitched and somewhat dark but not completely without brightness. The weight is about what a medium thin weighs.. but it almost feels a little lighter than its weight.. the hammer marks (especially form the underside) have a somewhat unique appearance to them.. to most of us quite preferable to the "machiney-er" later eras. Nice response.. Quite full.
