From the Vault Of Jared we have a 1974(?) Crumar Organizer for sale. Selling as I'm relocating and no longer play this keyboard. Unfortunately this rare oddity has a few issues and will need a serious service to playable again.

- Main drawbar sounds are weak and scratchy. Percussion sounds come through fine however. I am no electonics whiz, but I suspect there are some tired old capacitors in the main circuit.

- There is a noticable mains hum at all times. The power supply will need attention.

- Paintwork is not amazing.
With the bad news out of the way, let me highlight some positives. This organ has one of the best vibratos I have ever heard in a keyboard, period. The low frequencies that are produced are fantastic. This is not a Hammond clone, it does not and will not sound like one. To get a feel for how it sounds, I would recommend listening to BadBadNotGood's IV album. I can't vouch for what they used, but the liner notes do mention a Crumar. My ears are certain that it is resonsible for some of the warbly, melancholy lines on that album.
