Capture Pristine Sound On-The-Go
For professionals in film, TV, video production, and even wildlife enthusiasts, Audio-Technica's AT897 is your reliable companion. Designed for those dynamic field recordings, it effortlessly attaches to DV camcorders without being obtrusive, making it ideal for use even with compact digital cameras.

Seamless Integration with Cameras
The AT897's short length (11") is a boon for videographers. It ensures the microphone remains inconspicuous, never interfering with your shot, even when paired with the most compact of digital cameras.

Precision Audio Pickup
Crafted for impeccable sound quality, this high-performance short shotgun microphone promises outstanding long-distance audio reception, thanks to its line + gradient design which emphasizes a narrow acceptance angle. This ensures you capture what's intended while maintaining clarity and detail.

Reject Unwanted Noise
One of the standout features of the AT897 is its innate ability to reject sounds coming from its sides and rear. This ensures that you only capture the sounds you want, making post-production smoother and less cumbersome.

Versatility in Every Setting
From professional studios to bustling streets, this microphone is tailored for a myriad of applications. Its switchable low-frequency roll-off ensures flexibility, allowing for tailored audio capture in diverse environments.
