UPDATE: I had some work done to improve neck relief, action, and intonation. Because the neck joint was so solid the luthier and I decided to build up the fingerboard instead. It also has new frets and a new bridge. It now sounds 100% better. Repair pictures can be seen at the end of the photos.

This is a great sounding, Chicago-made parlor guitar. It was distributed by Montgomery Ward & Co during the mail order catalog era. During this time guitar makers like Lyon and Healy, Washburn, and others all made guitars for Sears and Montgomery Ward.

This guitar is in playable condition since the repairs sounds very good. She is sporting Phosphore bronze and silk stinks and sounds good fingerpicked or lightly strummed. It has a spruce top, solid oak back and sides, and a rosewood fingerboard.

There are several cracks that have been cleated. The one pictured on front appears to have been poorly done. It has since been cleaned and recleated.

It also comes with the original case, which is in poor condition. Please let me know if you have any questions and I'll be happy to answer them.
