Pristine Auctions is proud to present this awesome Brand New 2021 MTD (Michael Tobias Designs) USA Custom Shop 535-24 with a Highly Figured Redwood Top. This instrument is an absolutely incredible offering from MTD loaded to the max with Custom Shop Options. This instrument has of course the stunning Highly Figured Redwood Top (1500.00 option by itself), a 24 Fret 2 octave neck, an Ebony Finger Board, a matching Redwood Peghead Veneer, a matching truss rod cover, matching wood knobs, the World MTD Logo, Custom MTD Bridge, and the MTD Custom Vectra Hard Shell Bass Case.. The only parts of this instrument that do not have an upcharge is the Mahogany Body and the Maple Neck. With all the options the MSRP for this beautiful stunner comes to 8680.00 This instrument sounds as beautiful as it looks. The Redwood Top and Mahogany Body give it a well balanced and very articulate tone while adding some very nice low end frequencies hard to find with other wood combinations. The finish is an epoxy base coat coupled with a catalyzed urethane top coat. This type of finish is designed to preserve the tonal qualities of the natural wood and at the same time offer a durable and low maintenance finish for the user. She only weighs 8.5lbs and is a real back saver and very light for a 5 string bass. Will ship fully insured.
