The Slowey aluminum upright bass bridge was found on a 1954 Kay M1B bass.
As seen in the photos, the Slowey Bridge has 4 adjustable legs with rubber and felt pads, that allow the height and the angles of the bridge to be customized. This bridge can be adjusted to sit well on odd shaped tops.
Rockabilly players grabbed them up because of the bright punchy sound, complete 4 leg adjustment, and almost indestructible cast aluminum construction.
