About This Listing
Heritage Johnny Smith Rose archtop featuring the hard to find Rose pick guard inlay.
*All photos are of actual guitar being sold.
A one owner guitar, I conservatively rate this guitars condition as EXCELLENT PLUS PLUS. You'd have a very hard time finding a single blem on its surface. The action is low, fast, and as smooth as butter. The neck is straight.
If you're unfamiliar with the Heritage Johnny Smith guitars they were produced in very limited numbers. The Spruce top is tap tuned and acoustically vibrant.
Each guitar bears the actual signature of guitar legend Johnny Smith.
This guitar is in the very rare Amber finish. This is only the second HJS in Amber shading I've ever seen.
Created from select woods. Plus an additional factory Maple pick guard for acoustic only playing.
Later 1998 model with all original hardware, and original factory case.
Brand new set of Thomastik Infeld strings installed.
