An embodiment of Fender's commitment to innovation and quality, the MTG Tube Distortion Pedal offers musicians a durable and reliable solution for achieving authentic tube tone. Unlike many pedals that merely emulate the sound of tube breakup, the MTG Tube Distortion Pedal stands out by incorporating an actual vacuum tube, specifically a NOS (New Old Stock) US-made 6205 preamp tube, into its design. This innovative approach delivers the genuine, rich tube distortion that musicians crave. The MTG Tube Distortion Pedal is not just about delivering high-quality sound; it's also about providing versatility. With its 3-Band EQ featuring traditional Bass, Middle, and Treble controls, as well as a unique Tight control, musicians can easily contour the low end to their taste. This makes the pedal a versatile tool for both guitar and bass players.Adding to its versatility is the switchable boost function, complete with its own Level and Boost controls. The Level control adjusts the master output level when the Boost circuit is engaged, while the Boost control determines the amount of gain introduced. This allows musicians to dial in just the right sound for their performance.Despite its complex circuitry, the MTG Tube Distortion Pedal boasts a compact design that easily fits on any pedalboard. Its enclosure is crafted from lightweight, durable anodized aluminum, ensuring it can withstand the rigors of regular use. The pedal uses a standard 9V center-negative power supply, which is easily integrated into any rig. Internally, a switch-mode power supply elevates the incoming 9 volts to 150 volts, applying this higher voltage to the tube's plate, just like an amplifier. Finally, the MTG Tube Distortion Pedal is stage-ready, featuring LED-illuminated controls for easy operation even in low-light conditions. Trust in the Fender brand and experience the real deal in tube distortion with the MTG Tube Distortion Pedal.
