You know how it always goes, I hate to give this one up but I need to make room for new gear!

Up for sale is my used Loar LH-350 Archtop in gorgeous Vintage Sunburst. It's got usual play wear including "swirls" in the lacquer and a few small dings but nothing out of the ordinary. There are some white marks in the finish along the bass side of the lower bout as well as other pick marks on the guard and body but the guitar is structurally sound and looking great for the most part. This is a fantastic guitar for jazz, blues or anyone wanting that full hollow body sound through a nice pickup.

The pickup is a Kent Armstrong style floating humbucking and it sounds fantastic. It's wired to a single volume knob mounted on the pickguard and is one of the best sounding pickups I've ever heard on an archtop! The pickguard foam has come unglued causing the guard to lift (see photos) but this should be an easy fix with some new foam or just a bit of glue. It's strung up with nickel roundwound electric strings but it sounds just as good with acoustic strings or flatwounds. I will happily set this up with acoustic strings or whatever the buyer prefers!

It will be safely packed and shipped with a Guardian brand gig bag. This is a very nice affordable archtop that's only seen some light gigging!

Manufacturer's Description:

The Loar's hand-carved, polyurethane-finished archtop cutaway guitar offers an excellent option for traditional jazz guitarists who want to make the classic archtop sound heard clearly for ensemble playing. The Kent Armstrong floating pickup amplifies the sweet natural tone of the hand-carved spruce top, while the Florentine cutaway allows unrestricted access to the upper frets, making the Loar LH-350 acoustic guitar perfect for either soloing or accompaniment.

The archtop cutaway Loar guitar is assembled with a solid hand carved spruce top and maple back, sides, and neck. The guitar's bone nut and compensated adjustable ebony bridge let the sound of the select tonewoods resonate clearly, and the bound rosewood fretboard is both beautiful and durable. The Loar LH-350 acoustic guitar's bound pickguard with a single volume knob adds to the vintage look and feel. The archtop is finished with a meticulously inlaid mother-of-pearl "Fleur-de-Lys" headstock design and a polyurethane tobacco sunburst finish to stay true to classic design and style.

A classic archtop that embodies the sound of traditional jazz guitar.
