DESCRIPTION
This Testore copy has a sweet sound throughout the whole spectrum, and does not lose any volume on any octave. This instrument has a large, sonorous tone of most excellent quality with a mostly darker sound on the lower D and G strings, while being wonderfully bright and brilliant on the E and A strings. Although the label inside dates this violin from 1747, our experts place the construction of this, more than likely Italian-made, violin about 100 years later in the mid-19th century. The violin presents no damage or cracks and our own professional in-house luthiers have performed all maintenance and setup.
