MINT condition, one year old, pair of Neumann KH310 Professional 3-way Studio Monitors. Included is an additional warranty (on top of Neumann's warranty) through Guitar Center that I purchased on each monitor, insuring it for repairs and full replacement by guitar center should anything happen in the first 24 months. This includes accidental damage and diagnostic work. If it's not repairable, they'll give you a new one. This cost me an additional $219.99 on each monitor and I'm including it in this current listing price! The monitors were bought in February of 2017 so you pretty much have a full year left on the additional warranty should it ever be needed.
These monitors are in absolutely excellent mint shape, bought specifically for a private mixing/mastering and production studio in North Hollywood. These were bought for a short term room lockout in a major commercial studio for production and post production work on a few projects, including a film score, music mixing/mastering and some label work. Absolutely no smoking, low stress and lower volume listening environment and ALWAYS used by a professional audio engineer. Kept in a climate and humidity controlled room. Never cranked. See picture above of the studio room. Speakers were used for a few projects and duration of studio lockout but have been stored since the closing of the space. They were used for maybe a total of 10 out of the 12 months since I bought them. They are now stored in their molded protective packaging shells that they came in (see picture). I would love very much to keep them and had hoped that once last year's projects were over I might be able to but I unfortunately have some bills to pay so I'm hoping these can find a new home. I plan to get another set in the future, I really do like them that much.
Top-shelf monitors for professional studios. Right up there with the $8k ATC SMC25 in my book in terms of reliability, clarity and midrange decision making - but with clearer bass in my opinion. I'm an engineer and I can't find any 3-ways in this price bracket or even above that truly, consistently compete with these - with the incredible mid-range, the bass clarity/extension and the non- ear-fatiguing hi-end. Could listen to these for days, sounds like a live performance right in front of you. Very clear and honest, without the harshness of beryllium (Focal), titanium, etc tweeters. Certainly my favorite monitor and probably the fastest I've been able to consistently make translatable commercial mixes in all genres. Great in modern pop, hip hop, alt R&B, edm even without sub especially because of the bass clarity and closed cabinet design - but also particularly excellent on rock, jazz, singer songwriter type material and of course film. Feels like everything is live, right in front of you. Particularly awesome at dialing in reverb and mid-low range work, where it is an absolute champion.
Cost me 5.3K new including the add-on warranty and tax. Comes with power cables, protective shell and store receipt for proof of purchase should you need to get in contact with guitar center.

Specially-designed waveguide gives you a wider sweet spot
Neumann developed a Mathematically Modelled Dispersion (MMD) waveguide for the KH 310, and it gives you smoother off-axis response and a wider sweet spot too. You'll notice greater consistency and accuracy as you move around your mix position. And the smoother off-axis response also means that your acoustic treatment will be able to do its job better, because any reflected sound will be well-balanced.
Sealed cabinet design gives you exceptional low-frequency performance
You'll enjoy rock-solid low-frequency response from the Neumann KH 310 studio monitor, not only due to its three-way design but also thanks to its sealed cabinet design. Sealed cabinets eliminate standing-wave resonances, which equates to accurate low-frequency reproduction. A bonus of the sealed design is superb transient response, giving you better control over your mix's dynamics.
Acoustic controls let you fine-tune for your room
The Neumann KH 310 sports four-position controls for low, mid, and high frequencies to help tailor them to your room or personal taste. So no matter what type of room you're mixing in, or where you place the monitors, it's easy to get a balanced sound from the Neumann KH 310 active studio monitors.
Neumann KH 310 3-way Active Studio Monitor Features:
Active three-way studio monitor for near-field or rear-surround use
