Here for sale we have a Squier Classic Vibe Duo-Sonic Electric Guitar in Desert Sand finish. Made in China in 2008, this guitar consists of a Basswood body, a Maple neck, and a 21-fret Maple fingerboard. Other appointments include a Hard Tail bridge, a Synthetic Bone nut, Vintage-Style tuners, and a set of Custom Vintage Style Single-Coil Duo-Sonic Pickups. These pickups are wired to a master volume, master tone, and a three-way pickup selector. 

The 'C' shape neck profile feels well-fitted and comfortable in the hand, offering the player a chunky and solid grip with the smooth Gloss finish on the rear of the neck providing effortless manoeuvrability along the register. The Medium Jumbo frets enhance vibrato techniques whilst the 9.5" radius provides a comfortable rounded grip for chordal playing - making this guitar versatile for a range of playing styles and genres. 

The Custom Vintage Style Single-Coil Duo-Sonic pickups sound bright and clear with lots of sparkle. The neck produces a warm yet glassy tone projecting a clear and responsive sound with the bridge pickup demonstrating a crisp, bright tone that is articulate of each note. The bright and jangly tones of this guitar lean it towards genres such as indie, soft rock, and even blues with the tone control feeling especially responsive allowing the player to dial in their own sound.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the headstock display light signs of past use.

Neck: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the neck and fingerboard display light signs of past use.

Body: Overall very good condition. Light indentations are present to the body, these are located to the front face treble side edge and to the rear face treble side lower bout, these can be seen under direct light.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.

Hardware: Overall very good condition. Light tarnishing is present to both the bridge and neck plate, these can be seen at close scrutiny.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm

Strings on Guitar - 10-46

This guitar demonstrates mild fret noise which is not apparent when amplified. This noise does not affect sustain of notes, nor does it affect bending the notes. The new owner may choose to raise the action to alleviate this.
