Here's a 1973 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Goldtop. Clean, 100% original example! No breaks, cracks, repairs. This is 2 owner guitar, that has spent most of its years in its case. But don't let that fool you....the guitar plays and sounds GREAT. Pot codes date to 137-7251, which is the 51st week of 1972. We're calling it a '73 since the pots date so late, and the pickups aren't embossed with the Gibson logo (as they did in '72). Besides some vibey body checking, overall the guitar is in great shape! No green fading on this one. The gold is still fully gold. The neck has an easy playing medium profile, with slinky low action from top to bottom. Original fretless wonder style frets have life left as well. The guitar has a pair of original Mini Humbuckers that are strong, balanced, and punchy. The guitar sounds fantastic! As good of an LP Deluxe that we've comes across. Clean OHSC included!
