[Individual Characteristics]

A 2006 "Faded" model with a satin finish. The wood pores were left unfilled, and the instrument is finished with an ultra-thin lacquer, allowing the natural resonance of the wood to come through directly. It possesses a unique, "pre-worn" texture that only gains more character and a sophisticated, aged aesthetic the more it is played. There is some gloss developing on the back of the neck and parts of the body, giving it such a rugged, authentic look that it could easily be mistaken for a vintage instrument.

[Sound]

Delivers a crisp, thick, and gritty rock 'n' roll sound. When played through a high-gain amplifier—such as a Marshall—the midrange really pushes forward, producing a rich, "sticky" crunch to full-on distortion. Because the tone is clearer than that of a humbucker, you get excellent note separation and a three-dimensional quality when playing individual strings. While a single-pickup configuration might seem limiting, you can actually achieve a wide variety of sounds—from heavy rock tones and sharp, percussive rhythm playing to bluesy crunch and sweet, clean tones—simply by adjusting the volume and tone controls.

[Specifications & Details]

Features a mahogany body, mahogany neck, and rosewood fretboard. It is equipped with Kluson-style tuners with white buttons. The neck has a slim, 60s-style profile, ensuring a comfortable playing experience in any position. It features a single P-90 pickup in the bridge position.

[Condition]

There are some minor scuffs, small dings, and areas where the finish has developed a gloss, but there is no significant damage. The pickguard has been replaced; the original was black, but it has been swapped for a tortoiseshell-patterned one, giving it a more vintage-inspired appearance. The screw holes for the pickguard have been drilled in different positions than the originals. The original pickguard is not included.

Neck: There are no issues with warping or twisting. Frets: Show almost no signs of wear.

String height: Set to a standard configuration (measured at the 6th and 1st strings).

Truss rod: Has room for adjustment.

Includes a non-original gig bag.
