Boss GX-1B Bass Effects Processor

The BOSS GX-1B is a compact, all-in-one bass guitar effects processor designed for practice, recording, and live performance. It combines bass amplifier modeling, a large library of effects, customizable presets, and hands-free controls in one portable floor unit.

Rather than buying lots of separate pedals, you can use the GX-1B to build everything from warm vintage bass tones to aggressive distortion, funky slap sounds, atmospheric effects, and modern studio-quality bass tones.

Key features

1. Extensive amp and effects library

Includes 16 amplifier types and 135 effects, covering compression, overdrive, distortion, EQ, modulation, delay, and reverb. You can change the effect order and run up to eight effect blocks simultaneously, alongside volume and noise suppression.

2. Built-in expression pedal and footswitches

Three footswitches and an expression pedal with a toe switch provide hands-free control. Assign them to switch patches, activate effects, control volume, or adjust parameters such as wah, pitch, and modulation.

3. Easy tone creation

Its color screen and dedicated effect-category buttons make navigation more intuitive than menu-heavy processors. The Gear Suite feature provides ready-made settings for amp and effect types, so you can get a useful sound without adjusting every parameter yourself.

4. Practice and recording connectivity

Bluetooth lets you play along with music from a mobile device. USB-C supports audio recording and playback with compatible computers and mobile devices, while the BOSS Tone Studio app provides deeper editing and practice tools.
