The Fender '65 Deluxe Reverb, with its unique sound, has captivated countless guitarists across genres. Its responsive, natural overdrive sound with a noticeable compression, characteristic of small tube amplifiers, has long been a leader in the rock, country, and blues scenes. The FDR-1 faithfully models this sound using BOSS's proprietary COSM technology. Fender has granted permission to use the legendary amplifier's name and logo exclusively for the BOSS FDR-1. Thus, the BOSS "Legend Series" FDR-1, a pedal with a completely new concept, was born.
Not only can it be used with clean amplifiers, but it can also be used as a "pre-gain pedal" to add the distinctive sound of the Fender Deluxe Reverb when paired with tube amplifiers.

The FDR-1 is equipped with the same control knobs as the original. Of course, it faithfully reproduces the spring reverb that is a hallmark of the Deluxe Reverb, creating an impressive sound.
Furthermore, the Deluxe Reverb also features another key function: vibrato. Its unique fluctuation adds warmth to the guitar sound. You can also input the vibrato cycle using tap tempo by holding down the pedal for two seconds.
