This guitar was purchased new on Feb. of 2026. Played only at one practice session and one show. The Schecter Sunset-7 Red Dawn (Model #3891) is a high-performance 7-string electric guitar tailored for modern metal and precision shredding. Crucially, this non-ET version replaces the EverTune system with a TonePros Locking Tune-O-Matic bridge with a string-through-body configuration, which provides maximum resonance, enhanced sustain, and rock-solid tuning stability. The guitar combines a striking Gloss Black finish with a 1.5mm 1-ply red binding and distinctive offset reverse red circle fretboard inlays. It is built with a lightweight, balanced basswood body and a highly accessible deep-insert set-neck joint featuring Schecter’s "Ultra Access" carve for effortless reach to the upper register. [1, 2, 3]A core feature of the Sunset-7 is its extended 27" baritone scale length, which maintains tight string tension and absolute note clarity when handling aggressive low-end tunings. [1, 2]Technical SpecificationsFeatureSpecificationModel / NumberSunset-7 Red Dawn / 3891BridgeTonePros Locking Tune-O-Matic with String-Thru BodyScale Length27” (686 mm) BaritoneBody MaterialBasswoodNeck Construction3-piece Maple Set-Neck with Ultra AccessNeck ProfileUltra Thin "C" (19mm at 1st fret / 20mm at 12th fret)FretboardEbony with a flat 16" radiusFrets24 X-Jumbo Stainless SteelNutGraph Tech XL Black Tusq (48mm width)Bridge PickupFishman Fluence Modern Ceramic Open-Core (Red Bobbins)Neck PickupFishman Fluence Modern Alnico Open-Core (Red Bobbins)ControlsMaster Volume (Push/Pull for Voice 2), 5-Way Blade SwitchTunersSchecter LockingSide MarkersLuminlay Glow-in-the-Dark with Black Circle
