Peavey HP 2 Poplar Burl RM Transparent BlackA Modern High-Performance Guitar Built on Peavey's Legacy

Representing Peavey's outstanding heritage of guitar design, the HP 2 (High Performance 2) series combines timeless styling with modern innovation. The HP 2 Poplar Burl RM Transparent Black stands out with its sophisticated dark aesthetic, carefully designed to deliver excellent playability and a rich, expressive tonal response.

Striking Dark Aesthetics and Robust Construction

The HP 2 Transparent Black is as visually distinctive as it is functional.

Poplar Burl Top: Featuring a striking poplar burl top finished in Transparent Black, this guitar showcases the wood's unique grain beneath a deep, dark finish. The result is a look that combines visual depth with understated elegance.

Elegant Body Design: The sculpted, asymmetrical body is designed for comfortable playing and excellent balance. Cream-colored edge binding provides a refined contrast against the dark finish, completing its distinctive appearance.

A Neck Designed for Exceptional Stability

Built to meet the demands of serious performers, the HP 2 features a neck construction engineered for stability and reliability.

Roasted Maple Neck: Roasted maple offers excellent dimensional stability and resistance to warping, helping maintain consistent playability and tuning under demanding conditions.

Dual Graphite Reinforcement Bars: Two graphite reinforcement bars strengthen the neck and help it maintain its stability during intensive playing.

Adjustable Steel Truss Rod: The adjustable steel truss rod allows precise neck relief adjustments for an optimal setup.

Versatile Electronics for a Wide Range of Tones

The HP 2 is equipped to deliver a rich, responsive sound that captures the nuances of your playing.

Custom-Wound Peavey Humbuckers: Two custom-wound Peavey humbuckers provide a full, powerful sound with a tonal response tailored to the instrument.

Switchcraft 3-Way Toggle Switch: The reliable 3-way toggle switch allows quick and convenient selection between pickup configurations.

Push-Pull Coil-Tap Function: The push-pull control expands the guitar's tonal versatility, allowing you to switch between the thick, full-bodied character of humbuckers and the brighter, more defined response of single-coil-style tones.

Performance-Ready Hardware

Licensed Peavey Floyd Rose Tremolo: The licensed Floyd Rose tremolo system supports expressive pitch manipulation, from dramatic dive bombs to subtle vibrato effects, while helping maintain tuning stability.

Combining classic design elements, modern engineering, and a sophisticated dark finish, the Peavey HP 2 Poplar Burl RM Transparent Black is an appealing choice for players seeking a high-performance instrument with distinctive looks and versatile tonal options.
