Beautiful 1998 Dana Bourgeois Vintage Herringbone D, serial #001041, featuring a spruce top, rosewood back and sides, traditional herringbone appointments, and a natural gloss finish.

This guitar has a particularly interesting history. In 1999, acclaimed Texas guitarist Stephen Bruton and a mutual friend visited the Bourgeois factory, where they personally selected and purchased several of their favorite instruments. This guitar was among those selected.

The Vintage Herringbone D is Bourgeois' interpretation of the classic prewar dreadnought, combining traditional construction, elegant appointments, and the responsive, articulate character for which Dana Bourgeois guitars are known.
