The Violet ER a does not compromise on sound or workmanship. The soundboard of the instrument is made from carefully selected Engelmann spruce, whose excellent acoustic properties are further enhanced by our innovative individual voicing process. The back and sides are made from Indian rosewood. This combination gives the guitar a perfectly balanced sound with clear highs, warm bass and long-lasting sustain. It is thus ideal for delicate fingerstyle as well as more aggressive flatpicking or strumming.

In addition to a number of dark appointments, the beautiful natural appearance of the instrument is further enhanced by our Open-Pore Finish.

The Brankowood® fretboard of the guitar is equipped with special shortened frets which deliberately do not extend to the edge of the fretboard. This prevents them from protruding due to fretboard shrinkage at lower humidity. The resulting area contains a flexible ebony-colored filler, which can perfectly absorb any changes.
