PSI Audio AVAA C214 Active Bass Traps, Pair, [Black], [Very Good Condition]

Up for sale is a pair of PSI Audio AVAA C214 active bass traps. These are electronic pressure-based absorbers. They take out room modes from 15 Hz to 160 Hz and absorb like a passive trap up to 45 times their size, with no calibration needed. You put them where the bass builds up, usually corners or behind the listening position, and they absorb every mode present at that spot.

They are pure absorbers and never emit sound or run anti-noise. Processing runs on two independent DSPs with less than 0.2 ms of latency. The result is lower low-frequency decay times, tighter low end, and fewer boomy notes and dead spots. Each unit is about 25" tall and 8.3" in diameter, with an aluminum housing, so they take up far less room than a wall of passive bass traps.
