For sale is a modded one-of-a-kind 2011-2018 Gibson Les Paul Custom Alex Lifeson Axcess Electric Guitar with the original case and candy. This guitar has a stunning top and low action which makes it look and play incredibly well. The Floyd Rose works as intended and is so fun to use!

A little back-story... I originally purchased this guitar about 3 years ago for $8,000 with the following description:

"Very rare Lifeson Axcess. In excellent condition. Minor play wear. Hardshell case, COA included. A few notes:

-Outfitted with the very popular "McDLT" mod. In short, you won't have to rely on the battery to drive the magnetics as the Magnetic and Piezo are completely separated(switch on back is to completely disable battery too) Tone is uncompromised this way and Alex had this mod done to his own personal guitars.
-Suhr Aldrich Bridge Pickup.
-Guitar has had a fret level and setup recently.

Excelling playing, sounding, and versatile guitar. Piezo sounds amazing."

Come to find out after purchasing the guitar and getting it set-up and looked over by a luthier, all the wiring was cold-soldered together and needed major repairs. After contacting both the buyer and Reverb, a refund was issued to pay for the repairs, and is now in perfect working condition. The McDLT mod is still active to avoid battery consumption, but I have routed both Magnetic and Piezo pickups into the main plug-in, and I have had the "Tone" knob for the neck pickup assigned only to the neck pickup. It also includes insulation to the electronics to avoid picking up other frequencies since it does have active pickups. The upper strap lock does get loose occasionally.

I have gigged with the guitar several times and it is a BEAST. As much as this guitar has been through, it is in fantastic shape. Truly the most versatile guitar I have ever had, but I am looking to downgrade and find something that better fits my style. I do hope this guitar finds a good home with someone to enjoy it for all it is, it is truly one-of-a-kind.

It includes the case candy: Alex Lifeson owners certificate, factory inspection sheet, case key, Allen wrench, and Floyd Rose bar. Thank you so much for looking!
