This guitar is a commission sale. If you have a high-end or vintage guitar or bass you’re interested in selling, please contact us.

Here for sale we have a Nik Huber Guitars Krauster II Left Handed Electric Guitar in Dark Stain Tobacco Sunburst Semi-Gloss finish. Since the company was started in 1996, Nik Huber's guitar company has gone from strength to strength with its small team of luthiers handcrafting every instrument to be better than the last. Nik Huber Guitars are known for their playability, dynamic touch sensitivity, and high-end craftsmanship, so it's easy to see why there is such a long waiting list to order one!

Made in Germany in 2023, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with 'Exceptional' Flame Maple top, Flamed Maple neck & 22 fret East Indian Rosewood fingerboard with real Bone inlays & side dots. The body is bound in 'Faux' Natural Maple, whilst the neck is 'Bursted' & bound in Creme. An Aluminium Nik Huber Stop tail bridge with adjustable saddles is fitted, along with an Unbleached Bone nut & set of Nik Huber 510 open-geared tuning machines with 'Tulip' buttons. A pair of Nick Huber pickups are installed, with a Krauster (B) humbucker in the bridge & P90 '1956' in the neck. These are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, master volume & master tone with push/pull bridge coil split feature.

The Flame Maple neck sits beautifully in the hand, with the 'Std. Krauster' neck profile and semi-gloss finish providing a smooth and articulate playing experience up and down the neck. The East Indian Rosewood fingerboard is supremely pleasant to the touch and further enhances the luxurious playing experience that this guitar offers. The 10"-14" compound radius and Medium Jumbo Extra Hard frets provide a smooth and consistent playing surface right the way up the register, whilst assisting with vibrato and string bending techniques. The neck heel is impressively yet subtly sculpted to ensure unrestricted access to the upper frets.

The amplified tone of the Krauster II is equal measures thick, raw & buttery smooth. The Krauster (B) humbucker in the bridge is custom wound for Nik Huber Guitars by master pickup maker Harry Häussel. The pickup is wound exceptionally hot at ~16kΩ & as such delivers plenty of power for modern, aggressive rock tones. With such a high output, the pickup retains a powerful tone when in coil-split mode- somewhat similar to a hot Tele sound. The P90 '1954' in the neck position is wound to vintage accurate specifications and provides all of the warmth & character you would expect from a vintage pickup. It's a powerful combination of pickups, especially for funky, crisp cleans in the middle position with the humbucker in split mode. A fine instrument with luxurious appointments & incredible fit & finish.
