This listing is for our sE Electronics sE8 Condenser Microphone Matched Pair, which includes both the cardioid capsules and omni capsules! So you have the full set of everything available for this amazing matched pair of mics... two cardioid capsules and two omni capsules (and sE has just launched super-cardioid capsules if you'd like to add to this set)! All were purchased new in March 2026. The cardioid set has been opened, but only plugged in once to test... and the omni heads have actually never been used! So, this is as brand new as you'll ever find a complete set... it's basically all untouched and pristine! The sE8 is sE Electronics' top-of-the-line small diaphragm condenser microphone, and it's incredible on acoustic guitars, pianos, drum overheads, vocals... pretty much anything. Whether you need a mono single mic source that is transparent and able to catch fast transients, or you need a stereo pair to capture the perfect image of your sound source, this is the ideal small diaphragm mic system (and we have to mention that we prefer the sound of these over the Neumann KM184, the sE8 mics are really that good!). The entire setup ships in the carrying case (the omni heads fit in there too), all packed with plenty of extra packing material for safety. These cost $549 for the cardioid set and $229 for the optional omni capsules, so you can save a bunch with our listing, and shipping is free!
