Founded in Melbourne in 2001 by former Maton CEO Bradley Clark and Adam Cole, the premium guitar maker Cole Clark crafts exceptional acoustic guitars from locally sourced woods, which have since gained worldwide recognition and are played by music legends such as Jack Johnson, Snow Patrol, and Johnny Marr (The Smiths). The guitars combine classic construction methods with innovative designs, exclusively sustainable exotic (Australian) tonewoods (!!), and a top-of-the-line pickup system—Cole Clark thus creates unique instruments that meet the highest demands of a modern acoustic guitarist.

This premium dreadnought comes from Cole Clark’s Fat Lady series and is the second-highest model in the line. As such, it is equipped with nearly all the luxury features Cole Clark has to offer: the top is crafted from a richly resonant Sitka spruce, which, with its numerous wild figure patterns, is an absolute eye-catcher. The back and sides are crafted from richly grained rosewood, which delivers an orchestral, rich tone with beautifully defined bass and bell-like highs, while maintaining a balanced, harmonious character. The guitar responds superbly to fingerstyle and flatpicking, yet also brings its own unique character to strumming, making it highly versatile.

The Cole Clark 2-Way Blend pickup system combines a body sensor and a piezo pickup, which can be blended as desired to deliver a lively and natural sound. This makes the guitar ideal for stage use, offering excellent sound projection with exceptional clarity and definition.

In terms of playability, the C-shaped Queensland maple neck and a 44mm-wide TUSQ nut ensure exceptionally smooth and responsive playability.
