Schecter Damien Platinum-6 FR S Electric Guitar — Satin Black B-Stock

The Damien Platinum-6 FR S combines a thin 'C' neck profile with an arched mahogany body to deliver exceptional comfort during extended sessions, while the satin black finish provides a fast, responsive playing surface that requires zero break-in. Engineered for aggressive playing styles—metal, progressive rock, and high-gain applications—this guitar pairs tuning stability with articulate tone separation through a Floyd Rose Special bridge and dual EMG 81/85 Sustainiac pickups. This B-Stock unit carries a minor cosmetic finish chip on the back by the cover plate, but remains structurally and sonically uncompromised at a significant discount.

Playability & Feel

The 25.5" scale length and thin neck profile at the first fret (0.787") enable rapid upper-fret access without sacrificing stability or comfort. 24 X-Jumbo frets on a rosewood fretboard with 14" radius and platinum bat inlays reward precision technique, while the Ultra Access set-neck construction balances sustain with accessibility for dynamic lead work.

Tone & Electronics

The EMG 81 bridge pickup and EMG 85 Sustainiac neck pickup deliver high-output response across rhythmic and lead applications, with dedicated 2-way and 3-way mode switching (Fundamental-Mix-Harmonic) for articulate tonal shaping. A double 9-volt battery compartment powers the Sustainiac circuit, while independent volume/tone controls and a 3-way pickup selector enable quick adjustments without sacrificing the aggressive character this platform is built to deliver.
