The EarthQuaker Devices Acapulco Gold is an analog, dirt-simple power amp distortion pedal designed to replicate the massive, wide-open sound of a cranked vintage Sunn Model T amplifier. It features a minimalist, single-knob design where the giant control strictly dictates the output volume, forcing you to rely on your guitar's onboard controls to shape the overall gain and texture.

• Sonic Profile: Delivers an open, clear, yet devastatingly heavy crunch that veers into audience-pummeling doom and fuzzy wall-of-sound textures.
• Guitar Vol. Response: Maxing your guitar volume creates an explosive roar, backing off slightly shifts it into a raunchy overdrive, and low settings deliver a hazy, spanky clean-up.
