Larrivee OM-44 Silver Oak Ice-T Special Limited Run Guitar

Larrivee OM-44 Silver Oak Ice-T Special Limited Run Guitar

The OM-44 Silver Oak Ice-T Special delivers responsive, balanced playability defined by its compact body shape and effortless ergonomics—the one-piece mahogany neck invites fluid fingerstyle technique and smooth chord transitions across the fingerboard. This limited-run collaboration channels Larrivee's meticulous craftsmanship into a distinctly warm, woody tonal character that performs equally across folk, singer-songwriter, pop, and light jazz contexts. Built in the USA with premium materials throughout, this instrument rewards both delicate fingerpicking and assertive strumming with crystalline trebles and rich, resonant lows.

Playability & Craftsmanship

The 1.75-inch nut width and 16-inch fingerboard radius accommodate both fingerstyle and flatpicking approaches with equal comfort. Ebony fingerboard and bridge paired with the one-piece mahogany neck create a responsive platform for intricate arrangements and experimental open tunings, while rope purfling and vine headstock inlay reflect the attention to detail expected of a limited-edition instrument.

Tone & Resonance

Solid aged European spruce (25 years old) combined with solid silver oak back and sides produces excellent clarity and articulation—trebles cut through without harshness while lows remain resonant and full. Moon spruce scalloped hybrid bracing supports responsive sustain and balanced projection across the entire frequency range, creating a guitar with tonal versatility across dynamic playing approaches.
