Overview

The AlphaTheta HDJ-F9 are professional on-ear DJ headphones built around SonicLink, AlphaTheta’s ultra-low-latency wireless technology. With latency as low as 9 ms, you can monitor mixes and even scratch accurately without a cable. The new touch pairing function connects them to compatible gear like the DJM-V5 with a single touch (a mixer firmware update may be required). The separately sold SonicLink Transmitter HP-TX01 extends SonicLink to a wider range of devices. Newly developed 40 mm drivers, a bass-reflex chamber, and a PEEK-PU-PEEK composite diaphragm deliver tight, powerful lows and clean, balanced mids and highs. Strong isolation for an on-ear design lets you hear clearly in loud booths at lower volumes.

Swivel-mounted hangers and a flexible silicone headband keep them comfortable for any monitoring style, from one-ear listening to resting on your shoulder. A die-cast aluminum slider adds durability, and the headphones have passed international durability testing. The HEADPHONES CONNECT app lets you customize the Status LED color and brightness and adjust auto power-off and voice assistant settings. It also handles firmware updates and includes a Find My Headphones feature.

For everyday use, Bluetooth 5.3 multipoint connects two devices at once, with Google Fast Pair and Windows Swift Pair for quick setup, plus a built-in mic for calls. Battery life reaches up to 9 hours over SonicLink and 25 hours over Bluetooth with the LED off. A 30-minute charge gives about 2.5 hours of use. A 1.2 m coiled cable, extendable to about 3 m, is included for wired monitoring.
