Up for sale is a beautiful and highly collectible early 1960s Ludwig Supraphonic 400, featuring the desirable and hard-to-find 4-digit serial number Keystone badge.
Features:
- 5×14 Chrome Over Aluminum (COA) shell
- Rare 4-digit serial number
- Early 1963–1964 production
- Original Keystone badge
- Chrome Over Brass (COB) hoops
- Original baseball bat internal muffler with red felt
- Classic Ludwig Imperial lugs
- Vintage Ludwig strainer
Condition:
Beautiful vintage condition with exceptional chrome shine and only minor cosmetic signs of age and use, such a mild pitting, scuffs, scratches ( see video attached for better reference) consistent with a drum over 60 years old, case not included, new Ludwig wires .
A wonderful example of early Ludwig craftsmanship and a fantastic addition to any serious vintage Ludwig collection.
These early four-digit Supraphonics are becoming increasingly difficult to find, especially with their desirable vintage features.
