Gibson SJ-200 Standard | 2012 | Flamed Maple – like new, 10 hours of playing time

I bought this guitar new in September 2012 for a music project I dreamed of starting. Fourteen years later, the project hasn't taken off, and probably wouldn't be. So I decided to sell this beautiful instrument because this guitar deserves to be played, not kept in a case for more years.

The guitar has had approximately 10 hours of playing time, all at home. It has never been gigged or taken out of the house and has been carefully stored in its original hard case under suitable humidity conditions. Lemon oil was regularly applied over the fretboard.

Over the years, the wood has matured, and the guitar has a wonderfully sweet, mellow, and beautifully balanced sound. When you sit down with it, you don't notice how time passes.

The guitar is located in the EU, so there is no 23% VAT, import duties or customs for EU buyers.

Electronics: Fishman Ellipse Aura

Condition

Exceptionally well preserved, with minimal playing time. No cracks, dents, or finish issues. The frets show no visible wear, and the guitar plays beautifully across the entire fretboard. Stored in its original hard case in a non-smoking home. The only peculiarity is a faint, birthmark-like mark on the back (visible in the photos). It is original to the guitar and lies in the wood beneath the finish. I think it adds a touch of character and makes this instrument unique.
