Gibson Custom Shop 2015 Tamio Okuda CF-100E - a signature model recreating a legendary vintage guitar, embodying the sound and aesthetics of Japanese rock musician Tamio Okuda, a connoisseur of vintage Gibsons.

Typical piezo-equipped acoustic-electrics tend to sound thin, and original 1950s CF-100Es are hard to find and increasingly expensive. This model offers the thick, warm "acoustic + P-90" rock tone instead.

P-90 sound: a P-90 magnetic pickup mounted above the soundhole blends the guitar's full acoustic voice with the fat, sweet tone of a P-90.

Thick neck: a 1950s-style fat neck adopted at Okuda's strong request, giving a solid grip that handles hard strumming and produces a focused, thick tone.

Faded Cherry: a compact, comfortable body with a sharp Florentine cutaway, finished in a subdued cherry reminiscent of a faded vintage instrument.

This model was a limited production run in 2014 and is no longer made; examples rarely appear on the used market.

Information is limited to what we could find through our own inspection, as this is a used/vintage item.
- Playing wear and scratches are present, but the condition shows the guitar has been well cared for.

[Playing Condition]
- Action at the 12th fret: 2.6mm low E side, 2.0mm high E side.
- Saddle protrusion: approx. 3.0-4.5mm.
- Electronics work well.
- No choking or buzzing; playing condition is good.

[Consignment / Warranty]
This is a consignment item, so no shop warranty is included. Paid adjustments/repairs can be discussed after purchase on request. Not eligible for the online trial service (no returns).
