Dowina Saint Jacques GD-SB

The Dowina Saint Jacques GD-SB is a beautifully crafted European acoustic guitar, handmade in Slovakia and featuring Dowina’s distinctive Gold Orchestra body shape. Combining a solid spruce top with solid Indian Rosewood back and sides, the GD-SB delivers a rich, balanced and articulate tone with excellent projection and responsiveness.

Its compact Orchestra-style body offers a comfortable playing experience while retaining impressive volume and low-end depth. The combination of spruce and Indian Rosewood produces a versatile tonal character, making the Saint Jacques equally suitable for fingerstyle, flatpicking and strumming.

The Saint Jacques name has a distinctive connection to the guitar’s design: “Saint Jacques” refers to Saint James and also to the French word for scallop shell, reflected in the subtle shell-inspired details found on the instrument.
