Rare! MAM (Music and More) Warp 9 Analog Filter / Wasp clone - MAM Warp 9 Midi Analog Filter

The best advice is to click on "Buy it now" right now before someone else beats you to it since these very rarely come up on the market these days. ✌️☺️

The unit is in excellent working condition, just a little tearing on the rack ears (see pics) but other than that in very good condition with everything working flawlessly, and it sounds FANTASTIC. 😉 PSU included.

From Music and More (MAM) in Germany comes the highly sought Warp9 Wasp Filter rack unit! These units are incredibly rare and have been praised for their unique sonic character. It is really more like a synth then just a mere filter.

The filter is based on that of the classic EDP Wasp from 1978, utilizing a 12dB/oct (2-pole) resonant filter with switchable lowpass, high pass, bandpass, and notch modes. There is a built-in ADSR envelope with Delay and an LFO with 9 waveforms for modulating the filter's effect. The LFO can also be MIDI clock synced for tempo matched modulation of the filter's cut-off, resonance, etc.

Other common analogue filter effects such as Distortion, Velocity, and Key tracking are also on-board. The LFO and VCA alone can lead to some creative modulated filter effects!

The Warp 9 has a full MIDI implementation that can send/receive all of its parameters. Every single knob and function has its own Continuous Controller assigned and it's also possible to send information with note pitch and velocity-

The whole unit is midi controllable – it sends & receives midi cc messages so you can record, edit & sequence all the effects – and it can sync to midi clock.

There is mono audio in/out, MIDI in/out/thru, a power jack, and CV trigger input on the unit. You can use an external MIDI controller to program the unit which makes it a breeze to use.
