A great concert ukulele from the famous Hawaiian manufacturer Koaloha. Crafted from solid mango wood with a matte finish.

The story of Koaloha begins in 1995, when Alvin Okami founded the workshop on the island of Hawaii with the help of his family. According to “legend,” he was asked at the time by the owners of a souvenir shop to make small miniature ukuleles, which later inspired the idea to build the first “real” instruments. Everything is handcrafted using the highest-quality woods, such as the famous Hawaiian koa.

To this day, Koaloha is a Hawaiian family business that has become one of the best-known names in the world when it comes to high-quality, solidly built ukuleles.

The construction of Koaloha ukuleles has some special features that differ from the “conventional” construction of other manufacturers: Tops and backs, for example, are glued directly onto the sides. The bracing used is also a proprietary development that is not found in other manufacturers.
