Collings is one of the most highly regarded brands in the world. Its consistently high level of craftsmanship results in instruments so beautiful that players are captivated simply by holding them, and when played, they produce a truly satisfying sound. This particular instrument is the "OM-2H G SS," based on the company's flagship OM model, the "OM2H," featuring a German spruce body, a short scale length, and a cutaway. It boasts a superb German spruce top, carefully selected East Indian rosewood sides and back, a Honduran mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge, slotted diamond and square fingerboard inlays, Waverly open-back tuners, ivoroid binding and herringbone trim, a zigzag backstrip, and original scalloped X-bracing based on pre-war Martin styles. The sound is full-bodied yet rich in harmonics, offering a wide range. The short scale provides a thick, sweet tone with excellent sustain?a perfectly balanced sound. The cutaway design ensures easy access to the higher frets, making it exceptionally comfortable to play. There are some minor scratches and small dents from use, but overall it is in good condition, showing signs of careful handling. This is a rather rare instrument; please consider it. A generic hard case is included.
