Product Details

The BOSS JB-2 is a drive pedal jointly developed by BOSS and JHS Pedals to commemorate the 40th anniversary of BOSS compact effects pedals.

It combines two circuits based on the BOSS Blues Driver and JHS Angry Charlie into a single unit, aiming for a wide range of gain expression.

This model features a configuration where Drive, Tone, and Level can be individually adjusted with dual-axis knobs.

Furthermore, it has six modes, and is characterized by its ability to be used not only individually with the BOSS and JHS sides, but also in series or parallel combinations.

While fitting into a standard BOSS compact enclosure, it also supports external switching via a remote terminal, making it flexible to use on a pedalboard.

The sound can be created in a wide range, from an overdrive with excellent picking response derived from the BD-2 to a thick, rock-oriented distortion reminiscent of the Angry Charlie.

By mixing the two drive circuits, it is easy to achieve a clear crunch, a sticky lead, and a dense distortion, and it blends well with the guitar's volume control.

This pedal is perfect for those who want to enjoy the classic BOSS sound and the powerful drive characteristic of JHS.

It expands your tonal options in a limited space, making it ideal as a main distortion pedal or for use in combination with existing amplifiers and pedals.
